WHO WE ARE

FROM A SMALL RV TO A GLOBAL BUSINESS

It all started with the Rueger family RV in Tempe, AZ, 2003. As a recreational van for the family of seven to travel in, each member from oldest to youngest chose a word that best represented them at that time, giving birth to the name Fipsila.

Fast forward to present day, Fipsila has become the umbrella name for the different parts of this global business, including English and business competency development – vocational training, English competency and development, vacation home and bed & breakfast, brain injury resources, RV rental and so much more!

ABOUT BILL

CO-FOUNDER | HEAD OF ENGLISH & BUSINESS COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT - VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Bill is a lover of travel, meeting new people, and international exploration. He is also an accomplished triathlete and has participated in eight Ironman triathlons. Bill has facilitated the learning process with people age five to seventy-five in multiple countries including Guatemala, France, Belize, Peru, Italy and the United States.

"I've been studying myself since the 1960s! I've had a business mentor since the 80s! In 1985 I truly became ruined for life … in a profound fantastic way. You see, I made the decision to live and work outside the USA for what would be the first of many times. I began seeing from the inside out. In 1989, Swim, Bike, Run Triathlon became a passion with personal best results of 10h34m at the Ironman distance and 1h29seconds at the Sprint distance. In the mid-90s I travelled the USA as a Retirement Education Specialist.

One day, I had the ah-ha moment. All my successes were the result of the practical application of simple processes, all that I had learned and experienced. As a result of these experiences and countless others, I was inspired to develop a process of personalized strategies to help others achieve their personalized goals. This became and is my passion and life mission. I still get chills to this day as I look back over my life and see these few simple truths, everywhere..."

ABOUT CATHERINE

CO-FOUNDER | HEAD CRAFTMAKER OF FIPSILA CREATIONS

Born and raised in Northern France, Catherine is the proud mother of five children. Her early life in France was filled with farm animals, healthy eating, and spending quality time with her family. After her move to the USA in December 1987, she ran a day care business and eventually earned her massage therapy license.

As the co-founder of Fipsila, Catherine co-manages the French Farm vacation home in Marliac, France (a 100-person community 65 kilometers south of Toulouse where the Pyrenees Mountains begin to roll) along with the bed and breakfast. Her French farmer license has allowed her to care for and breed Angora rabbits, which are used for her custom knitted Fipsila Creations garments.

Catherine enjoys both her life in France and the USA with her husband Bill and her children. She is a lover of knitting, bodybuilding, massage therapy, and living a healthy lifestyle.

She has been passionate about knitting since the age of four. You always see her with one of her projects in hand - at the farm, in the car, in front of the fire, or at the park. Her hands are constantly busy creating garments, blankets, essentially anything with yarn or fabric.
