We wanted to take a moment to welcome you to FIPSILA and our website and let you know what to expect. Above all, we want you to have a great vacation, enhanced by your relationship with us and your RV owner.
Please take a moment to browse around the website and familiarize yourself with FIPSILA. But don’t stop there! Let us hear from you – your plans, ideas, and needs. We would appreciate your filling out and submitting a Renter Inquiry Form. This will help guide our conversation as we put you in touch with the owner of the RV best suited for your needs. Feel free to call us if you prefer.
When you talk with your RV owner, remember that they are private individuals, just like you, who enjoy RV vacations. There’s much you can learn from them, and they’re usually glad to share their knowledge and experience.
Owners take great pride in their unit. They’re in this only partly for the money – they enjoy sharing the joy of traveling in their RV with people they come to know.

The Referral Process:
1. After you have had an opportunity to browse our website, fill out and submit a Renter Inquiry Form. Feel free to call us directly.
2. After we talk with you, we’ll contact the RV owner to let them know of your interest.
3. The owner will call you and you’ll arrange the details directly with them. These include (but are not limited to):
- pickup and drop-off location, dates, and times
- security deposit (cash, travelers check or bank check)
- insurance details
- other services
- applicable fees
- providing a photocopy of your current driver’s license, insurance coverage, and passport as applicable.
4. Once agreed upon with the owner, you’ll reserve the RV by directly submitting to FIPSILA a completed Reservation Form along with a 25% reservation fee (check made payable to FIPSILA). Note that the reservation fee is 25% of the rental rate only; service fees are paid directly to the owner. We must have the reservation fee in order to reserve the unit for you.
5. FIPSILA will send a Confirmation Letter to you and the owner. At this time, all future interactions are solely between you and the owner – the referral is complete.
In the event you cancel 30 days or more before the rental pickup date, 50% of the reservation fee will be returned to you. If you cancel less than 30 days from the rental pickup date, 100% of the reservation fee is forfeited, and you will not receive any monies back.
What to Expect When Picking Up the RV:
1. When you arrive to pick up your RV rental, you and the owner will complete a walk-through of the unit inside and outside.
2. You’ll review and sign a copy of the Rental Contract and Terms and Conditions – these are standard in the industry. You’ll also review potential fees if the waste tanks are not dumped, fuel is not filled, unit is not reasonably clean, etc.
3. It is at this pickup time that you will pay the remaining 75% rental rate, security deposit, and applicable service fees (airport or train pickup, outfitting, pet, etc.) directly to the owner.
4. Prior to leaving with the RV, you’ll check with the owner about roadside assistance insurance.
5. Enjoy your vacation!
If you experience a problem with your unit during your trip, call the owner. They will troubleshoot the problem with you. Your RV owner wants their unit cared for whether they are on a trip or you are renting it. Owners will provide their phone number as a contact.
What to Expect Upon Dropping Off the RV:
1. When you return the unit, the owner will conduct a thorough inspection. They will be responsible for returning your security deposit within ten (10) days.
2. We’ll want to hear about your experiences with the owners, listen to your ideas, answer your questions, and swap stories – so do stay in touch!
